Business Development Executive / Sr. Business Development Executive

Exp: 2-6 yrs

Budget: Up to 10 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Executive with proven experience in selling IT resources under talent augmentation or staffing models. This role is focused on selling billable resources, not products or SaaS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience closing deals involving Data, and Engineering talent, working directly with end clients, and driving revenue through placements and account expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new end clients for AI & Data talent augmentation services
  • Sell contract, dedicated, and project-based resources
  • Own the complete sales cycle: outreach, requirement understanding, rate negotiation, closure, on boarding, and continuity
  • Work closely with delivery and recruitment teams to place billable resources
  • Build and expand client accounts through additional placements
  • Maintain healthy margins and utilization targets
  • Track pipeline, placements, and revenue performance

Required Experience & Skills

  • 26 years of experience in IT staffing / talent augmentation / resource selling
  • Proven track record of successful resource placements
  • Strong understanding of rate cards, margins, and staffing commercials
  • Exposure to US and/or Europe markets (preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills
  • Hunter mindset with focus on new client acquisition

  • Bench Sales Specialist (with direct end-client exposure)
  • Technical Staffing Sales / Account Manager
  • Talent Augmentation Sales AI & Data
  • IT Staffing Business Development Executive

Not a Fit For

  • Candidates with only BDR / SDR experience
  • SaaS or product-only sales profiles
  • Lead generation or inside sales roles without resource placement experience

Success Metrics

  • Number of billable resource placements
  • Revenue generated from talent augmentation deals
  • Account expansion and repeat placements
  • Margin and utilization performance
