About the Role -
We're looking for a revenue-driven Business Development Executive who understands the e-commerce ecosystem and can bring in brand partnerships across marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, and Q-Commerce platforms.
This is a hunter role you will build a strong business pipeline, convert brands, and directly contribute to revenue.
Key Responsibilities -
- Identify, pitch, and onboard new brands across major marketplaces & Q-commerce platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong monthly sales pipeline.
- Sell marketplace solutions: ads, performance marketing, catalog ops, marketplace management, etc.
- Create tailored proposals, growth plans, and pitch decks for brands.
- Track category trends, competitor activity, and marketplace opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal operations, advertising, and strategy teams for smooth onboarding.
- Manage early-stage client conversations and conduct 6090 day growth reviews.
Performance Metrics -
- Brands onboarded monthly/quarterly
- New business revenue achieved
- Pipeline strength & conversion
- Quality and potential of acquired brands
Required Skills & Qualifications -
- 2-3 years in BD, marketplace growth, or agency sales (E-commerce/D2C/Q-commerce).
- Strong understanding of marketplace fundamentals: ads, promos, pricing, catalog, operations.
- Ability to create strong presentations and proposals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Target-driven, proactive, and high-ownership mindset.
Good to Have -
- Existing network of brand founders/marketers/sellers.
- Experience selling marketplace services.
- Knowledge of ad dashboards, analytics, and marketplace backend systems.
