Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive / Academic
Counsellor to guide prospective learners toward the right Vedic Science, Spiritual,
Astrology, Yoga, and Holistic Education programs offered by IIVS.
This role is 100% student-centric, focused on consultative selling, counselling,
follow-ups, and enrollments through calls and digital communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students via inbound & outbound calls, WhatsApp,
emails, and CRM tools.
Understand learners career goals, interests, spiritual inclination, and learning
objectives to recommend the most suitable courses.
Deliver clear, confident course counselling by explaining curriculum, certification
value, learning outcomes, and career scope.
Handle student queries, objections, and concerns with a solution-oriented and
empathetic approach.
Drive end-to-end enrollment closures through structured follow-ups and
persuasive communication.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all interactions, follow-ups, and
conversions in the CRM system.
Manage the admissions pipeline, ensuring timely callbacks and high conversion
ratios.
Coordinate with onboarding, academic, and support teams to ensure a smooth
post-enrollment experience.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly admission and revenue targets.
Participate in sales training, product updates, and performance reviews to
enhance counselling effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:
Minimum 24 years of experience in EdTech / Education Sales / Academic
Counselling (B2C preferred).
Prior experience in course counselling, student admissions, or education
consulting is mandatory.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication in Hindi & English (additional languages are a
plus).
Ability to explain complex or spiritual concepts in a simple, convincing, and
relatable manner.
Sales & Counselling Skills:
Proven ability to handle objections, build trust, and close enrollments.
Comfortable working with targets, incentives, and performance metrics.
CRM & Tools:
Hands-on experience with CRM systems, WhatsApp Business, Google
Sheets / Excel.
Organized approach toward follow-ups, data tracking, and reporting.
Personality Traits:
Student-first mindset with high emotional intelligence.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and outcome-focused.
Passion or interest in Vedic sciences, spirituality, wellness, or holistic
education is a strong plus.
