Role Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective parents and students, understanding their educational needs, and converting inquiries into enrollments. The role emphasizes conversion, retention, and customer experience rather than lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Engagement (Leads Provided)
- Engage with prospective parents and students via calls, virtual meetings, walk-ins, emails, and digital platforms.
- Understand customer requirements, academic expectations, and concerns to propose suitable school programs.
- Present and explain Cyboard School's offerings, curriculum structure, value proposition, and fee details clearly and convincingly.
- Build strong rapport and long-term relationships with prospects to enhance trust and conversion outcomes.
2. Sales Conversion & Revenue Growth
- Drive enrollments by effectively converting assigned leads into confirmed admissions.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly business development targets.
- Handle objections, negotiate within defined guidelines, and close deals in a professional manner.
- Maximize conversion efficiency from the allocated lead pool.
3. Process Management & Coordination
- Guide prospects through the complete admission and onboarding process
- Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, assessments, interviews, and onboarding activities. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all student and parent records
- Update and maintain lead status, follow-ups, and conversion data in CRM systems.
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports
- Provide market feedback and insights to help improve sales strategies and processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Experience
- 13 years of experience in business development, inside sales, admissions, or customer facing roles.
- Prior experience in ed-tech, education, or service-based sales environments is preferred.
