ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Development Executive will spearhead the growth of our stainless steel finishes portfolio within the architectural segment. This is a high-impact, field-oriented role that requires a blend of strategic market thinking and relentless on-ground execution — building relationships with architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders to convert opportunities into long-term revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation
▪ Proactively identify, pursue, and convert project leads in the architectural and interior design space, ensuring each lead is followed through to a logical conclusion — be it a confirmed order or a qualified disqualification.
▪ Conduct daily field visits to architects, interior design studios, contractors, builders, and project consultants to generate quality sales leads.
▪ Participate in and drive offsite marketing activities including trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and industry seminars.
▪ Develop and nurture a strong network of decision-makers across the architectural value chain — architects, interior designers, specifiers, procurement heads, and site engineers.
Market Intelligence & Inquiry Management
▪ Build and maintain a structured inquiry data bank capturing all active leads, project details, decision timelines, and competitor intelligence.
▪ Track the progress of each inquiry/lead on a regular, systematic basis — updating status, next actions, and conversion probability.
▪ Gather, analyze, and report market intelligence on trends, competitor activities, pricing benchmarks, and emerging project opportunities in the architectural segment.
▪ Identify market gaps and product opportunities and provide actionable inputs to the product and marketing teams.
▪ Escalate stalled leads in a timely manner and seek cross-functional support — from technical, pricing, or management teams — wherever required to accelerate closure.
Relationship Management & Brand Building
▪ Establish the company as a preferred supplier of architectural stainless steel finishes among top-tier architects and design studios.
▪ Conduct regular product presentations, sample sharing sessions, and technical demonstrations to key stakeholders.
▪ Collaborate with architects and interior designers during the specification stage to ensure our products are embedded in project blueprints.
▪ Maintain strong post-sale relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
▪ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
▪ MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience
▪ 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in building materials, architectural products, metals, or related industries.
▪ Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a field-sales role.
▪ Prior experience engaging architects, interior designers, or project consultants is strongly preferred.
▪ Familiarity with stainless steel products, surface finishes, or decorative metals is a distinct advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS
▪ Predominantly field-based with daily travel to client sites, architectural studios, and project locations.
▪ Flexibility required for offsite events, trade exhibitions, and industry networking activities.
▪ Must possess a valid driving license and be comfortable with daily local travel.
▪ Office coordination for reporting, pipeline reviews, and internal meetings as required.
