Job Opening | BDE - International Outreach (BDE-IO) | DOT School of Design

DOT School of Design is looking for a highly driven and travel-ready Business Development Executive - International Outreach (BDE-IO) to strengthen our global presence and build meaningful international partnerships. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy cross-cultural engagement, institutional collaborations, and representing an academic brand on global platforms.

Job Summary

The BDE - International Outreach will be responsible for establishing and managing international partnerships with foreign universities, institutions, and organizations. The role involves identifying collaboration opportunities, signing MoUs, coordinating international and pan-India industrial visits (IVs), and representing DOT School of Design at national and international conferences and forums.

Key Responsibilities:

International Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Connect with foreign universities, academic institutions, design schools, and organizations to explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and formalize MoUs and long-term academic or industry partnerships.
  • Identify strategic global opportunities aligned with institutional growth and outreach goals.

International & Industrial Visits

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage international and pan-India industrial visits (IVs) for students and faculty.
  • Liaise with partner institutions and organizations to ensure smooth execution of visits and exchanges.

Representation & Networking

  • Represent DOT School of Design at international conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and academic events.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with international stakeholders and partners.

Documentation & Follow-ups

  • Maintain partnership pipelines, MoU documentation, reports, and regular follow-ups.
  • Coordinate internally with academic and administrative teams for partnership execution.

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation ability.
  • Proven negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidence in international settings.
  • Cultural adaptability and ability to work across global contexts.
  • High readiness for international and domestic travel.
  • Strong email etiquette, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualification

  • Master's degree such as MBA, MCA, or any other relevant postgraduate qualification.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in international outreach, business development, education partnerships, or institutional collaborations.
