Position: Business Development Executive – BIM Services

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 2-5 Years

Industry Preference: Architecture / Engineering / Construction / BIM / Construction Technology

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive - India Market to support the growth of our BIM services portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and supporting revenue growth initiatives.

This role requires a professional who understands the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry, possesses strong communication and sales skills, and can effectively engage with clients to promote BIM services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in BIM and construction technology.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients including architects, consultants, contractors, and developers.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients through email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their project requirements and business needs.
  • Present the company's BIM capabilities and service offerings to prospective clients.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into business.

Sales Support & Proposal Management

  • Support the preparation of proposals, capability statements, presentations, and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to understand project scope and prepare customized proposals.
  • Assist in negotiations, commercial discussions, and closing deals with clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline updates in CRM systems.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with project teams, BIM managers, and leadership to ensure alignment between client expectations and project delivery.
  • Provide insights from the market to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of projects to the delivery team once contracts are finalized.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments in BIM and digital construction.
  • Identify opportunities in sectors such as infrastructure, commercial buildings, residential developments, and government projects.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of BIM services, digital construction workflows, or AEC industry practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
  • Prior experience in BIM services sales, AEC consulting, engineering services, or construction technology.
