About the Organization

Alchemy Academy of Performing Arts is a leading institution dedicated to training, nurturing and showcasing talent in theatre and performing arts. Along with professional training programmes, the academy actively curates performances, workshops and collaborations through its Black Box performance space.

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving admissions, building partnerships and supporting the academy's growth initiatives. The role involves active communication with parents, sponsors and artists, along with creating professional pitch materials and representing the academy in meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Parent Engagement

  • Attend and respond to incoming admission enquiries and calls for various courses offered by the academy.

  • Provide clear and confident information about programmes, schedules and outcomes.

  • Interact with parents and students to guide them through the admission process and follow up on leads.

  • Sponsorship & Partnerships

    • Create pitch notes, proposals and presentations for sponsorship and partnership meetings.

    • Actively participate in sponsorship meetings and represent the academy professionally.

    • Identify and pursue potential sponsors and collaborators aligned with the academy's vision.

  • Programming & Artist Coordination

    • Connect with artists, theatre practitioners and performers to curate shows and events at the Black Box.

    • Support coordination and communication related to performances, workshops and special events.

  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain admission data, sponsor contacts and follow-up details using Excel and internal systems.

    • Prepare reports, presentations and written communication as required by the management.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

    • Strong computer proficiency, especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Canva

    • Good business acumen with the ability to understand sales, partnerships and growth opportunities.

    • Confidence in interacting with parents, artists, sponsors and external stakeholders.

    • Interest or background in performing arts, theatre or cultural initiatives is an added advantage.
