Job Title : Business Development Executive

Location: Chennai (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Fixed Salary + Performance-based Incentives

Role Overview

We are looking for proactive Business Development Executive with 6 months to 2 years of experience in outbound sales and lead generation. The role focuses on lead generation, cold calling, lead qualification, and appointment setting with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead generation through cold calling, referrals, databases, and online research.

2. Identify and reach out to potential clients across target industries.

3. Engage and qualify leads by understanding client needs and business challenges.

4. Fix and confirm meetings for senior consultants and leadership team.

5. Follow up with prospects via calls, emails, and WhatsApp as required.

6. Maintain and update CRM, sales trackers, and EOD reports on a daily basis.

7. Coordinate internally with consulting and proposal teams for smooth handover.

8. Share accurate client briefs and background information post meeting confirmation.

9. Achieve daily calling targets and monthly meeting targets.

10. Track lead-to-meeting conversions and contribute to overall sales pipeline growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

6 months to 2 years of experience in inside sales, telecalling, lead generation, or business development.

Strong verbal communication skills (English mandatory; Tamil preferred).

Confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.

Basic understanding of B2B services is an added advantage.

Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
