Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating and qualifying leads, and building a robust sales pipeline for access equipment and related solutions. The Business Development Executive will conduct market research, reach out to prospective clients, present product offerings, and support the sales cycle from initial contact through to closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client accounts, maintaining long-term relationships, coordinating with internal teams to align offerings with customer needs, and preparing regular reports on sales activities and market trends.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to build and expand a client base.
  • Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to manage relationships, negotiate proposals, and support repeat sales.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience in industrial products, manufacturing, or B2B sales, particularly in equipment or construction-related sectors.
  • Candidates should have a proven track record in meeting sales targets, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Chennai and travel as required for client meetings.
