We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Coordinator to join our growing trading and services firm in the Rajapalayam branch. In this role, you'll ensure our internal trade workflows, documentation, and operational processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining our operational standards, facilitating the seamless progress of our business activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Coordination: Oversee the day-to-day flow of trade activities, ensuring that orders, shipping documentation, and service timelines are tracked and completed accurately.
- Documentation Management: Manage essential trade paperwork (invoices, packing lists, shipping advice) to ensure consistency and maintain organised digital and physical records.
- Vendor Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for external partners like freight forwarders, logistics providers, and suppliers.
- Client Liaison: Serving as a professional point of contact for clients for routine inquiries, follow-ups, and scheduling B2B meetings.
- Office Infrastructure: Managing routine office needs, such as supplies, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a professional environment for visiting clients.
- Process Efficiency: Monitor daily workflows to ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule; proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Document control: Maintain accurate internal databases and files to ensure all operational information is easily accessible and strictly maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Custom Clearance, Commerce, or other non-IT qualifications.
- 1-3 years hands-on experience in the operational support role (Not in the IT industry).
- Willing to travel anywhere within the South Indian states.
- Driving License and own vehicle.
- English and Tamil Literacy.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Typewriting and strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and experience with a good level of computer applications knowledge.
- A proactive, problems solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
