Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Pre-Sales Associate with B2B SaaS industry. The candidate will support the sales team in identifying business opportunities, understanding client requirements, and delivering tailored solution presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong research, communication, and consultative skills, with the ability to engage prospects, identify pain points, and align platform capabilities with business needs. This role will play a key part in supporting the sales cycle through lead qualification, discovery, and customised proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective clients, sales leads, and market opportunities for B2B SaaS platform in fashion, retail, FMCG, beauty, interiors, consumer tech industries.
  • Engage with prospects through cold callings and inbound leads to understand their business challenges, objectives, and requirements, mapping these needs to platform capabilities and solutions.
  • Conduct effective discovery conversations by asking relevant questions to identify client pain points and opportunities.
  • Support and tailor product demonstrations and presentations based on client use cases and specific business requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of leads, client interactions, communications, and engagement history within the CRM system to support the sales conversion process.
  • Assist the sales team in preparing customised proposals, presentations, and pre-sales materials for client review, while supporting the overall sales process without final negotiation responsibility.
  • Represent the organisation at trade shows, webinars, networking events, and industry forums to generate interest, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications.
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS across Pre-Sales, Business Development, Client Engagement, Sales Support, or Solution Consulting preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with clients.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with a consultative approach to understanding client needs.
  • Experience in conducting product demonstrations, client discovery sessions, or solution presentations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of market trends and customer requirements are advantageous.
