JD: Business Development Associate (BDA)

Location: Mumbai

Industry: Virtual Data Room (VDR) / B2B SaaS / Financial Services

Experience: 0–2 years

We are looking to hire a Business Development Associate to support outbound sales and lead generation for FirmsData in Mumbai.

The role will focus on:

  • Cold calling prospective clients
  • Email outreach and follow-ups
  • Generating qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Reaching out to clients across investment banking, advisory, legal, corporate finance, and related sectors
  • Maintaining prospect data and updating CRM regularly
  • Supporting account mapping, lead generation, and pipeline building

Preferred profile:

  • 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or client outreach
  • Freshers who are eager to learn and have strong communication skills can also be considered
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable with cold calling and email outreach
  • Good follow-up discipline and attention to detail
  • Interest in finance, investment banking, legal, or B2B sales will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel, and email outreach tools is a plus

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospect and reach out to target clients through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Fix meetings and demos for the sales team
  • Build and maintain prospect databases
  • Track outreach and follow-up activities in CRM
  • Support sales campaigns across target accounts
  • Work closely with the Sales Head on outreach strategy and execution

Role objective:

The main goal of this role is to create a strong outbound pipeline and book relevant meetings with potential clients for the sales team.
