JD: Business Development Associate (BDA)

We are looking to hire a Business Development Associate to support outbound sales and lead generation for FirmsData in Mumbai.
The role will focus on:
- Cold calling prospective clients
- Email outreach and follow-ups
- Generating qualified meetings for the sales team
- Reaching out to clients across investment banking, advisory, legal, corporate finance, and related sectors
- Maintaining prospect data and updating CRM regularly
- Supporting account mapping, lead generation, and pipeline building
Preferred profile:
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or client outreach
- Freshers who are eager to learn and have strong communication skills can also be considered
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable with cold calling and email outreach
- Good follow-up discipline and attention to detail
- Interest in finance, investment banking, legal, or B2B sales will be an advantage
- Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel, and email outreach tools is a plus
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect and reach out to target clients through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Fix meetings and demos for the sales team
- Build and maintain prospect databases
- Track outreach and follow-up activities in CRM
- Support sales campaigns across target accounts
- Work closely with the Sales Head on outreach strategy and execution
Role objective:
The main goal of this role is to create a strong outbound pipeline and book relevant meetings with potential clients for the sales team.
