About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst with strong expertise in data analytics platforms, data warehousing, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality data insights, enable data-driven decisions, and support scalable data solutions.

What You'll Do:
- Analyze and investigate data quality issues including lineage, controls, and data sources
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and preparation for analysis
- Design and build scalable data pipelines for efficient data movement and processing
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Apply advanced analytical techniques including machine learning and AI where required
- Develop reports, dashboards, and insights using data visualisation tools
- Ensure data reliability and implement data quality frameworks
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate in Scrum/Kanban environments
- Support continuous improvement in data processes, governance, and controls
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong experience in data analytics platforms and reporting data warehouses
- Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and scalable data ingestion pipelines
- Hands-on experience in Python for data analysis and profiling
- Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong business and data analysis skills with stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of data modelling techniques and exposure to modelling tools
- Understanding of data controls and governance frameworks
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
- Domain knowledge in Retail / Investment Banking / Correspondent Banking / AML Transaction Monitoring
- Certification in AWS, Databricks Lakehouse, or DBT Fundamentals
- Exposure to risk, controls, and transformation initiatives
- Lead and mentor team members, allocate work, and support professional development
- Take ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality output
- Collaborate across teams and functions to drive business outcomes
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Influence decision-making using data-driven insights
- Maintain understanding of organizational processes, products, and services
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
