Business Analyst or Data Analyst
(Financial or Sales data reconciliation + SQL + BI reporting tools) 8 - 12 yrs Job Description: Technical Business Analyst (SQL) Financial Data Reconciliation
Experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong SQL skills to support financial data reconciliation activities.
The role will focus on reconciling legacy order and sales summaries with underlying source systems and BI reporting platforms.
The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, engaging with business stakeholders, extracting source data, and identifying discrepancies between operational systems and reporting tools. This role requires a hands-on analyst who is comfortable analyzing data, writing/modifying SQL queries, and resolving reporting variances across systems.
Required Experience
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with strong technical skills.
Proven experience in financial or sales data reconciliation and reporting validation.
Experience investigating data discrepancies across multiple systems.
Ability to work independently and drive analysis with minimal supervision.
Experience interacting with multiple stakeholders to gather data and validate outputs.
Technical Skills
Strong SQL skills (data extraction, complex queries, troubleshooting data issues).
Experience reconciling data between transactional systems and BI/reporting platforms.
Familiarity with BI reporting tools and financial reporting platforms (e.g., OneStream or similar).
Strong data analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.

Independently connect with stakeholders and obtain source data
Use SQL to investigate and reconcile financial/sales data
Identify root causes of reporting discrepancies across systems
Provide clear recommendations and corrective actions
