Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market clients, focusing on providing customized working capital solutions. This role involves developing strong client relationships, assessing financing needs, structuring appropriate products, and ensuring risk and compliance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market clients with annual turnovers typically ranging between 1001000 crore.
- Understand client businesses and provide tailored working capital solutions, including cash credit, overdrafts, bill discounting, and supply chain finance.
- Drive new client acquisition and cross-sell other banking products.
- Analyze financial statements to assess creditworthiness and prepare credit proposals.
- Liaise with credit, legal, and operations teams for timely disbursal and compliance.
- Monitor portfolio quality and proactively manage risks.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA/CA preferred.
- 59 years of experience in corporate or mid-market banking with exposure to working capital products.
- Strong financial analysis, credit appraisal, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
