Job Purpose
To assess, evaluate review and approve credit proposals as a first/Second level officer for the business banking relationship which is referred to retail credit involving various products like term loans, trade finance, CC, OD etc. To Maintain the service level deliverables agreed with counter parts. Effective portfolio management including regular monitoring, early warning identifications, deferral tracking, renewals and working on appropriate account strategy in conjunction with business team in line with the banks risk appetite.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Credit appraisal of loan application within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision, recommend for approval to higher authorities.
- To convey a clear opinion/ Highlight Critical risks along with suitable mitigates if any, regarding the acceptability of the proposed transactions/ facilities covering business model, industry risk, structure, Bank Conduct and Financials risk.
- Awareness of the product proposed, suitability to client requirement
- Conduct personal discussion with customers
- Portfolio Monitoring:
- Timely Renewal
- Deferral Management
- EWS Management
- Customer visits on key customers and high value relationship
- TAT - Maintaining the defined credit and end to end TATs to timely service internal as well as external customers.

Educational Qualifications
Graduate Any
Post Graduate - MBA Finance
Preferable - CA/CS/CFA
Experience
Minimum of 5 + years of experience in Credit Underwriting.
