Business Analyst

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Update financial models to align Closed Won sales with income statement revenue and other sales-driven metrics
• Interpret data and generate actionable insights to support business decisions (e.g., trends, forward-looking metrics)
• Prepare reports and present findings to Sales Management, Business Unit Leaders, and Finance Leadership
• Determine relevant data sources and provide analytical insights to key business partners
• Create and utilize data visualization techniques to support data exploration and storytelling
• Lead the operationalization and automation of complex data processes across multiple systems and large data sets
• Present analytical findings in business-relevant terms to non-technical stakeholders
• Understand and support data models across multiple business units
• Analyze the relationship between sales operations and business outcomes to inform data insights
• Reconcile and load data into Salesforce and other relevant data models
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to ensure alignment and accuracy in reporting and data strategy

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent certification/experience)
• 24 years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and analytics
• Proven ability to reconcile and analyze complex data sets for trend identification and strategic insights
• Experience with Salesforce preferred
• Proficiency in analytical tools and technologies, including:
• Excel (advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Tableau (basic to intermediate level for data visualization)
• Strong understanding of business context and ability to make data meaningful and actionable for end users
• Ability to extrapolate functional business use cases into data requirements and technical implementations
• Awareness of how business data evolves over time and ability to incorporate historical data into development and testing processes
• Proactive in ensuring data accuracy, context, and clarity when delivering new capabilities or reports
