Job Summary
TrueID is looking for a Business Analyst with strong analytical and technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
This role requires a combination of problem-solving skills, domain understanding especially in the fintech / banking domain and the ability to translate complex business challenges into clear functional specifications.
The Business Analyst will collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure successful delivery of innovative and secure solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle & Requirements Management
- Requirement Engineering: Lead end-to-end requirement gathering sessions with clients, prioritizing needs and translating them into actionable user stories within Jira.
- Liaison & Collaboration: Work as the functional bridge between the development team and the client to ensure technical builds align with business goals.
- Process Optimization: Audit existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and design streamlined, optimized workflows.
- Documentation: Own the project knowledge base by maintaining high-quality functional specifications, process maps, and project documentation.
- Reporting: Generate reports on project progress, team utilization, KPIs
Production Support & System Management
- Incident Triage: Serve as the functional lead for the production system, analyzing live issues to distinguish between technical bugs and requirement gaps.
- Support Lifecycle: Manage the resolution of production tickets, ensuring all issues are addressed within agreed-upon SLAs.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Partner with developers to perform RCAs for recurring production issues and propose long-term functional fixes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact during system outages or critical production updates, managing client expectations with clarity and urgency.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT from Tier1/2 colleges only apply.
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in Business Analyst role, including direct involvement in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira (or similar project management tools) and experience with data analysis to derive actionable business insights.
- Support Expertise: Proven track record in managing production support workflows and prioritizing live system stability alongside new feature development.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex functional issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work Environment: This is a strict work-from-office setup. Candidates must be available to work full-time at our physical location.
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity within e-KYC and Banking Systems.
- Familiarity with Biometrics-based Identity Management solutions.
Familiarity with cloud based deployments preferably AWS
