Job Description:

Role: Business Analyst

Location: Navi Mumbai( Ghansoli )

Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM

Work Mode: WFO

Position Requirements:

5+ years of experience with database development on Oracle/PostgreSQL/Vertica

Experience with ETL tools.

Experience with Pentaho is preferred or with Informatica or other similar ETL tools, with an understanding of Metadata Ingestion

Experience with the reporting platforms such as Tableau

2+ years of experience with databases such as Postgres/GBQ is good to have

Experience with Web analytics or Business Intelligence tools

Strong communication, strong SQL and great documentation is a must

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python is an added advantage

Knowledge of Unix shell scripting is good to have

Understanding of one or more of: Omniture, Exact Target, Google Analytics, DFP, Salesforce

Self-motivated, willingness to learn new technologies and business and willing to take initiative beyond basic

responsibilities

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, Develop and support multiple data quality projects in relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) as well as non- traditional databases (Vertica/MongoDB/Hive)

Analyze business requirements, design and implement required SQL based test scenarios and implement ETL processes

Work closely with teams outside of IT (i.e. Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales) to understand data quality requirements

Build an enterprise level data quality validation inventory for different data sources within new Pentaho framework

Build MDI components in Pentaho to support data quality checks

Connect and integrate complex datasets for better analysis and data validation

Translate SQL into terms that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
