Role Overview
Wappnet Systems is looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Business Analyst – Pre-Sales who can bridge the gap between client requirements, business goals, and technical solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in requirement gathering, solution understanding, proposal documentation, and client communication within the IT services industry. The role primarily focuses on pre-sales activities, solution discussions, and business analysis; however, the candidate may also be involved in project coordination activities whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
● Participate in discovery calls, requirement-gathering sessions, and client discussions to understand business objectives and technical expectations.
● Analyze client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to define appropriate solutions, project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
● Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), user stories, workflows, wireframes, and solution documentation.
● Create proposals, estimations, Statements of Work (SoW), capability decks, and other pre-sales documentation aligned with client requirements.
● Support the sales and business development team during solution discussions, client presentations, and proposal submissions.
● Assist in preparing project plans, task breakdowns, and effort estimations in coordination with technical teams.
● Maintain clear documentation and organized communication throughout the sales and requirements lifecycle.
● Conduct competitor, market, and technology research when required for solution positioning.
● Participate in client demos, walkthroughs, and solution presentations confidently.
● Ensure proper handover of project requirements and documentation to the delivery team after project onboarding.
Required Skills & Expertise
● 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Pre-Sales Consultant in international IT service sales.
● Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, sprint workflows, and project coordination processes.
● Expertise in requirement gathering, business analysis, stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into functional solutions.
● Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, workflows, wireframes, use cases, and other functional documentation
.
● A good understanding of IT services, including web development, mobile applications, custom software, SaaS solutions, AI solutions, and digital transformation services.
● Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, development, QA, DevOps, sales, and project management teams.
● Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Figma, or similar collaboration and project management platforms.
● Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with strong presentation and business communication abilities.
● Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and client discussions in a fast-paced environment.
