Job Title: Business Analyst Product Management
Position Overview
We are looking a skilled Business Analyst to translate business needs into technology solutions, enhance business processes, and drive digital transformation across enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, validate, and document the business functional and non-functional requirements using standard industry techniques such as workshops, interviews, user stories and use cases.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirement gathering and analysis, design, development, testing and UAT
- Work closely with Product Owners, Customers, Business Consultants, Technology teams and Support teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments for change requests and new enhancements.
- Manage and support customer L2 tickets, analyse root causes, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, wireframes, and business process models (AS-IS and TO-BE).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring business sign-off.
- Deliver customer training, product walkthroughs, and prepare user guides and release notes.
Required Business Analysis Skills and Knowledge
- 14 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software products/software development projects.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in writing functional specifications, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong domain knowledge or experience in Logistics, or ERP-based enterprise systems
- Understanding of Service Field Applications, including field service management, technician workflows, work order management, scheduling, and mobile service applications will be an added advantage.
Technical & Tool Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology and in related field. Master's degree (MBA Operation or relevant) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Exposure to AI-based tools and techniques for business analysis and automation.
- Experience with process modelling tools and techniques (Figma, Balsamiq, swimlane diagrams).
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows is preferred.
