Business Analyst for Product Management
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic product management team. As an Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product management team by conducting market research, analyzing user needs, and assisting in product development.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough requirements workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather information.
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements.
- Create user stories and use cases to define product features and functionalities.
- Process Modeling and Design:
- Develop clear and concise process flows, data flows, and use case diagrams to visualize business processes.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and propose solutions.
- Design and document functional specifications for system enhancements and new developments.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Utilize data analysis tools to extract meaningful information.
- Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to support decision-making.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Manage project scope, risks, and issues effectively.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project progress.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, technical teams, and executive leadership.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Product Development Support:
- Support the development team by providing clarifications and answering questions.
- Participate in product reviews and testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
