Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Operations (BizOps) Analyst - Exports

Department: Bizops

Location: Bangalore

Role Purpose

The BizOps Analyst will be the analytical bridge between operations, finance, and

business leadership in the export division. The role entails driving data-backed decisions,

enhancing operational visibility, improving turnaround times (TAT), and maximizing export

profitability through precision analytics and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1) Data Analytics & Reporting

Automate dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to monitor shipment

performance, losses, and approvals. Ensure data accuracy across MIS

and trackers.

2) Business Process Optimization

Identify inefficiencies, build logic-based analytics tools, and

recommend process improvements across export documentation and

finance.

3) Financial & Margin Analysis

Conduct margin reconciliations, track forex, and simulate pricing

models (FOB, CIF, DDP) for multiple geographies.

4) Operational Coordination

Coordinate with export, logistics, finance, and vendor teams for data

integrity and process adherence.

5) Forecasting & Diagnostic Analytics

Apply mathematical and logical reasoning for demand forecasting,

bottleneck prediction, and cost utilization planning.

6) SOP Management & Governance

Develop and maintain process documentation, SLAs, and audit

dashboards.

7) Strategic Projects

Lead analytics-driven initiatives for margin optimization, automation,

and BPR (Business Process Re-engineering).

Skills & Competencies

Advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Query, VBA, Macros)

Tableau / Power BI for real-time dashboards

Quantitative reasoning & strong logical problem-solving

Understanding of export documentation, TAT management, and compliance

Exposure to tools like Tridge, ICEGATE, and related trade/Exim software is a strong

plus (++)

Analytical storytelling with attention to business impact

Stakeholder collaboration across export finance, logistics, and ops

Excellent numerical accuracy and detail orientation

Educational Background & Experience

Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Management

(Finance/Operations)

Experience: 26 years in business analytics, exports support, MIS, or process

excellence

Certifications (Preferred): Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, or Lean Six

Sigma
