We are seeking an experienced BRM Data Migration Lead to spearhead end-to-end data migration efforts for Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM). You will own the migration strategy, implementation, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure the accurate transfer of legacy data into the new system with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive BRM data migration strategies and detailed cutover runbooks.
- Hands-on expertise with BRM 12 schema, data modeling, and legacy data mapping activities.
- Perform data conversion, loading, and integration with upstream and downstream (north/south bound) systems.
- Validate migrated data accuracy including events, invoices, open items, bills, and dunning processes.
- Write and execute reconciliation scripts, conduct parallel bill runs, and dry runs to verify migration success.
- Conduct performance testing and optimize system downtime during cutover activities.
- Generate periodic migration reports with detailed analysis of progress and data quality.
- Execute thorough data integrity and post-migration validation testing.
Primary Skills & Mandatory Qualifications:
- Deep experience with Oracle BRM data migration components such as CMT.
- Programming skills in Java (PCM Java, Web Services), C/C++, PL/SQL, Python or Perl scripting.
- Strong Oracle Database knowledge (12c/19c).
- Expertise in data modeling, data conversion techniques, and handling encrypted data.
- Proficient in SQL, including complex query writing and report/reconciliation scripting.
- Fundamental understanding of Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in Telecom domain (pre-paid/post-paid billing).
- Familiarity with both on-premise and cloud Oracle BRM deployments.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to cloud tools and frameworks.
