Job Title: Head of Strategy Innovation, Efficiency & IPs
Function:Strategic Leadership, Innovation Strategy, Operational Efficiency, Product Strategy
Overview:We're looking for a dynamic, multi-disciplinary Head of Strategy to join IIC's core leadership team. This role goes beyond conventional strategy functions it's about shaping the future of how we work, what we build, and how we innovate. You'll be the force driving cross-departmental efficiencies, next-gen client innovations, and strategic evolution of our IPs and SaaS platforms (like Martech, V-Retail, V-Estate). From internal frameworks to external impact, your role is central to making IIC smarter, faster, and more future-ready.
Organizational Strategy & Operational Efficiency
- Audit and optimize internal processes across departments (Sales, Design, Tech, Production, HR, Finance, etc.)
- Create cross-functional SOPs and ways of working playbooks that drive speed, accountability, and quality.
- Monitor team performance metrics in collaboration with Founders, HR, and Ops; intervene when systemic inefficiencies are spotted.
- Work closely with HR to build OKR/KPI frameworks that tie individual and team goals to company-level strategy.
- Implement internal dashboards, rituals (e.g., Monday Priorities, Friday Reviews), and scorecards to align leadership teams.
- Identify bottlenecks and champion automation/digitization of repetitive workflows via Notion, AI tools, or custom stacks.
Client Innovation & Strategic Consulting
- Work directly with Founders, Creative, and Tech teams to translate client briefs into powerful strategy-first narratives.
- Lead innovation sessions for marquee accounts (e.g., BMW, Adani, Oberoi Realty) to uncover fresh formats, platforms, and ideas.
- Act as a Strategic Director in new business pitchescrafting narratives, problem statements, value propositions, and strategic roadmaps.
- Build innovation frameworks tailored to client domains: real estate, automotive, BFSI, lifestyle, or immersive tech.
- Guide the evolution of client project strategiesfrom conceptual phase to activationensuring strategic consistency and impact.
Internal Product/IP Strategy (V-Retail, V-Estate, etc.)
- Own the strategic roadmap of internal IPs (e.g., V-Retail AI, V-Estate 2.0) in collaboration with Product, Design, Tech, and Founders
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, market research, and user feedback loops to define product-market fit.
- Build GTM (Go-to-Market) frameworks, feature prioritization matrices, and monetization strategies.
- Evaluate product performance post-deployment and lead retrospectives to course-correct or scale.
- Define positioning, messaging, and product storytelling for internal demos, investor decks, or external partners
Key Outcomes & Success Metrics
- 2530% improvement in internal project delivery timelines via optimized processes.
- Strategic involvement in 80% of new business pitches and key client campaigns.
- At least 2 internal IPs redefined, rebranded, or launched with strategic clarity per year.
- Measurable reduction in cross-team friction and operational escalations.
- Increase in innovation-led upsell/retention in top 5 accounts.
Skills & Qualities We Value
Strategic Thinking
- Systems thinking and second-order reasoning.

- Familiarity with innovation models (e.g., First Principles, Jobs-To-Be-Done, Blue Ocean).
Communication & Leadership

Experience & Background
- 612 years in strategy consulting, innovation, brand/creative strategy, or product leadership.
- Experience in cross-functional environmentsstartups, creative tech, SaaS, or consulting firms.
- Background in design, tech, or business is a plus (but not a constraint).
