Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Brand Strategist who can bridge the gap between strategy, creativity, and design execution. This role is ideal for someone who understands how brands think, how design communicates, and how strategy drives business outcomes.

The ideal candidate should come from a design or experience design background, with the ability to translate insights, research, and market understanding into powerful brand strategies. You will work closely with design teams, leadership, and clients to build brands that are meaningful, differentiated, and future-ready.

This role requires someone who can think strategically, visualize creatively, and guide teams toward impactful brand narratives and experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Thinking
  • Develop comprehensive brand strategies including brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and brand architecture.
  • Translate business objectives into brand-led creative strategies.
  • Define brand purpose, tone of voice, and storytelling frameworks.
  • Lead brand discovery workshops with clients and internal teams.
Research & Insights
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation.
  • Identify cultural, behavioral, and industry insights that shape brand strategies.
  • Work with data and analytics to validate strategic directions.
Design & Creative Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with design, UX, and creative teams to ensure strategy translates into impactful visual and experiential outcomes.
  • Guide teams in building cohesive brand identities and brand systems.
  • Ensure that design decisions align with strategic goals and brand narrative.
Strategy Communication
  • Present and articulate strategic thinking to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build clear and compelling strategy decks, narratives, and frameworks.
  • Act as the strategic voice during brand and design discussions.
Innovation & AI Integration
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance research, insights generation, and strategy efficiency.
  • Explore new approaches to brand building using technology, data, and experience design.
  • Build future-focused brand thinking that adapts to evolving consumer behavior.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Mentor and guide designers and strategists on strategic thinking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, product, and leadership teams.
  • Ensure projects maintain strategic integrity from concept to execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in brand strategy, design strategy, or creative strategy.
  • Background in Design, Communication Design, UX, or related creative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of branding, identity systems, storytelling, and visual communication.
  • Ability to translate research and insights into actionable brand strategies.
  • Experience creating strategy decks, brand frameworks, and positioning documents.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered research, strategy tools, and modern creative workflows.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
Good to Have
  • Experience working in branding, design, or digital agencies.
  • Exposure to CX strategy, UX strategy, or experience design.
  • Understanding of consumer psychology and cultural trends.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools, market intelligence platforms, or research frameworks.
