We are looking for a Brand Manager for a new luxury brand the company is curating with the goal of being the first high jewellery luxury brand to come out of India
Key Responsibilities
Market research &Annual Operating Plan
- Create road map for the achievement of proposed mid long term strategy
- Undertake market research analysis to understand the consumer / market trends, brand positioning, with the target consumer segments
- Brief the agencies on the business plan for the year to co-develop the annual marketing plan for the category aligned to the business goals
- Review the marketing plan developed, develop the marketing calendar and budget for the category and present it for approvals
Brand Planning
- Define on the positioning of the brand basis market trends, consumer insights to ensure its alignment with the business context
- Review the marketing brief and lead the discussion on the branding brief of the new product / campaigns to the vendors (creative, media, digital, etc.)
- Evaluate the plans presented by the vendors, provide recommendations and provide requisite approvals to finalise the branding plan
- Allocate the budget to the developed brand plan to ensure the its alignment with the envisaged brand positioning
Execution
- Oversee the execution of the branding initiatives to ensure that the initiatives are as per the agreed marketing plan
- Provide inputs on the initiatives (artefacts, product / advertisement shoot, design, etc) to ensure that the brand and the products are positioned in line with the business requirements
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections if mandated
- Review the evaluation of the vendors / agencies basis their performance and recommend appropriate actions
Vendor Identification and management
- Finalise vendors basis their offerings/capabilities to partner with the firm
- Negotiate with the vendors on the rates within the recommended price range & empanel the vendors as per the recommended guidelines
- Periodically evaluate the vendor on the performance against the agreed statement of work for and determine contract renewal / continuation decisions
