We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Brand Manager to support the development and execution of brand strategies across key markets. This role sits at the intersection of consumer insight, product innovation, and marketing execution, and is ideal for someone passionate about building impactful beauty brands in a fast-growing, global environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of brand plans aligned with overall business objectives
Assist in defining product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
Ensure consistent brand communication across all consumer touchpoints
Work closely with product development teams to support new product launches
Contribute to concept development, packaging, and pricing strategies
Track global beauty trends (ingredients, formats, claims) and bring actionable insights
Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns (digital-first)
Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for timely delivery of campaigns
Support influencer collaborations, content creation, and social media initiatives
Conduct competitor benchmarking and category analysis
Analyze consumer behavior, feedback, and market trends to inform decisions
Monitor brand performance and campaign effectiveness
Partner with sales, e-commerce, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure smooth execution
Support marketplace readiness across platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart
Coordinate with creative, digital, and PR agencies
Track KPIs such as sales performance, campaign ROI, and market share
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
Support data-driven decision making
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
5-7 years in brand management, marketing, or category roles
Experience in cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or D2C brands preferred
Strong understanding of branding and marketing fundamentals
Passion for beauty, skincare, and cosmetic trends
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or similar tools
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive and execution-focused
Creative thinker with a strong aesthetic sense
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
57 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or product roles within cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or D2C brands
MBA from a recognized premier institute (B-schools preferred)
Strong understanding of consumer behavior, beauty trends, and product categories (skincare, makeup, haircare)
Proven experience in supporting product launches and executing integrated, digital-first marketing campaigns
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights (campaign performance, sales trends, consumer behavior)
Good understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and influencer ecosystem
Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for branding, packaging, and content quality
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Execution-focused with strong ownership, attention to detail, and project management skills
Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets; familiarity with analytics or marketing tools is a plus
Excellent communication, structured thinking, and problem-solving abilities
