Its private-banking-style model assigns dedicated loan portfolio counselors to manage end-to-end borrowing processes, from product selection and documentation to taxation and insurance guidance. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Branch Manager will oversee overall branch operations, including business development, client servicing, and team management to achieve sales and revenue targets. The role involves leading and mentoring branch staff, setting performance goals, and ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. The Branch Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, lending partners, and internal stakeholders to provide seamless, end-to-end loan advisory services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing pipelines, monitoring loan processing and documentation, resolving escalations, analyzing branch performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to expand the branch's market reach.

Qualifications

  • Strong branch operations and people management skills, including team leadership, performance management, and workflow coordination.
  • Experience in sales, business development, and relationship management within banking, NBFCs, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of loan products, mortgage solutions, credit assessment, and end-to-end lending processes.
  • Proficiency in customer service, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to manage escalations effectively.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for tracking branch performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in branch management, lending, or retail banking roles, preferably in the Bengaluru market.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
