Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve branch growth targets for gold loans and MFI products.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of market trends.
  • Sales Management:
  • Lead and motivate a team of loan officers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for gold loans and MFI products.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training sessions for the sales team to improve their product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee all branch operations, including loan processing, disbursement, and collection activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements of the RBI and other governing bodies.
  • Manage branch budget and resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and complete branch records.
  • Prepare timely reports for senior management.
  • Risk Management:
  • Implement effective risk management practices to minimize credit risk and ensure portfolio quality.
  • Conduct due diligence on loan applications and ensure proper documentation.
  • People Management:
  • Recruit, hire, and train qualified staff members for the branch.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback for employee development.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment for the team.
