Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve branch growth targets for gold loans and MFI products.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of market trends.
- Sales Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of loan officers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for gold loans and MFI products.
- Conduct regular coaching and training sessions for the sales team to improve their product knowledge and selling skills.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee all branch operations, including loan processing, disbursement, and collection activities.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements of the RBI and other governing bodies.
- Manage branch budget and resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate and complete branch records.
- Prepare timely reports for senior management.
- Risk Management:
- Implement effective risk management practices to minimize credit risk and ensure portfolio quality.
- Conduct due diligence on loan applications and ensure proper documentation.
- People Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train qualified staff members for the branch.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback for employee development.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment for the team.
