Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail focused Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role involves delivering high quality bookkeeping services to a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations while contributing to overall team and business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping records for multiple clients
• Build and sustain strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact
• Implement, maintain, and support accounting software solutions, including Xero
• Prepare accurate financial records, including income and expenditure statements
• Reconcile balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and income with high accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with relevant regulations
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control activities
• Provide support for ad hoc financial and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• CA Inter / BCom qualification
• 2+ years of UK/Irish bookkeeping experience (preferably in an accountancy practice)
• Proficiency in Xero and other accounting software/tools
