Job Summary:

We are a dynamic and growing finance department looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a foundational knowledge in bookkeeping who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including collecting information, data entry, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.

Support the preparation of financial reports under the guidance of experienced team members.

Learn and adhere to our department's processes and best practices.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, either through coursework or practical experience.

High attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks Online is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Preferred But Not Required:

Some hands-on experience in bookkeeping, through internships, part-time work, or similar.

Familiarity with financial software or previous exposure to accounting environments.
