Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented BizOps Engineer II who thrives under pressure. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated technical proficiency, design thinking, and experience in Agile and ITSM environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Work Order and Incidents resolution, Monitoring and alert review.
- CRQ implementation with a focus on self-productivity improvement, aiming for a 2% reduction in work orders and manual toil per quarter.
- Interact with global stakeholders and clients, requiring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 4 to 5 years of overall experience with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- ITSM SLOs and volume management reduction of work orders through RCA and problem management.
- Bachelor's degree required ITSM certification is good to have.
Required Skills:
- SQL Querying: Capable of writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Experience with relational databases for access audits, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Bash & Unix Shell Scripting: Experience in command-line scripting for automating tasks, log parsing, and system monitoring. Familiarity with cron jobs, file manipulation, and process control in Unix/Linux environments.
- CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Ability to integrate security checks and access controls into automated workflows.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Exposure to SRE principles such as observability, incident response, and service-level objectives (SLOs). Experience in maintaining high-availability systems and reducing toil through automation.
- Platform Knowledge: Working knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems, basic networking, web applications, and databases.
Preferred Skills:
- Python Scripting: Ability to write Python scripts for automation, data processing, and integration with APIs.
- XLR (XebiaLabs Release) or Chef Habitat: Familiarity with release orchestration or application automation and packaging.
- Privilege and Access Management (PAM): Understanding of PAM concepts and experience with tools like RSA IGL, MARC, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust.
