Job Overview:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler with 2+ years of experience in creating and managing electrical models using BIM software. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems (lighting, power, cable trays, fire alarm, ELV systems).
- Prepare shop drawings, layouts, and schematics based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams to resolve clashes.
- Perform clash detection using BIM tools and ensure model accuracy.
- Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and BIM execution plans.
- Extract BOQs and prepare quantity take-offs from models.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling (Electrical).
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and coordination processes.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:- Experience in international projects GCC projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other BIM tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
