Your impact

The BIM Coordinator – Data Centers will serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related activities on data center projects, ensuring effective multidisciplinary coordination and consistent BIM support throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires a strong understanding of local and international BIM standards, with proven application in complex, mission-critical environments. The coordinator will lead model coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, fire protection, and ICT disciplines to meet stringent data center requirements for performance, redundancy, and constructability.

In this role, the BIM Coordinator will support digital delivery by implementing BIM processes, workflows, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP), while ensuring compliance with project standards. Responsibilities include managing coordinated models, supporting technology and content standardization, and contributing to BIM data management aligned with organizational objectives. This role also involves collaborating with global project teams to enable integrated delivery, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise the production of BIM Models, ensuring accurate implementation of project information, proper documentation, and effective communication with Design Teams.
• Ensure model(s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed Level of Information Need (LOIN)/Level of Development (LOD)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
• Review BIM models and execute QA/QC for compliance with Client requirements and project QA/QC procedure.
• Assist BIM Manager in the preparation of BEP, Scope Clarification, Capability/Capacity Assessments, information production methods & procedures, and project information protocol, maintaining these during project delivery.
• Establish and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) in accordance with ISO 19650 standards to ensure secure, structured, and collaborative data exchange.
• Experience on Tier II / III / IV Data Center projects
• Support coordination of critical data center systems including
• Electrical systems (UPS, generators, bus ducts, cable trays)
• Mechanical systems (CRAC/CRAH units, PAHU, chilled water, containment systems)
• Fire detection and suppression systems.
• Assist in layout coordination for server rooms, equipment spaces, raised floors, and ceiling zones.
• Ensure proper spatial coordination for redundancy paths and high-density services.
• Solid understanding of MEP coordination in complex environments
• Good knowledge of data center design principles and critical infrastructure
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and manage the TIDP's/MIDP.
• Preparation of Technical Verification Plan template for creating workflow templates in ACC.
• Host and lead BIM coordination meetings (internal and external). Prepare, create, and maintain Federated Models. Track, report, and follow up on clashes, RFIs, and design issues with relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate and test BIM technologies/workflows as required by the project and ISO 19650.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency enhancement in the BIM process and implement improvements.
• Provide support and focused training on specific tasks to enhance staff members knowledge and expertise of the standardized software used
• Preparing clash detection matrix, perform clash detection, manage clash resolution and appropriate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for compiling and managing COBie spreadsheets to ensure accurate and standardized delivery of asset data for facilities management and project handover.
  
  

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital delivery, or related domains preferably within sectors such as Transportation, Water, Energy & Power (E&P), and Buildings.
• Proven track record of successfully leading BIM implementation on large-scale and technically complex projects.
• Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk/Bentley Certified Professional, ISO 19650) are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of AEC industry design and construction workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and other BIM-related standards.

• Familiarity with digital twin technologies and smart infrastructure.
• Experience with 4D/5D BIM (time and cost integration).
