The BI Developer is responsible for designing and building analytical data models, SQL transformations, and trusted datasets across Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Delta Lake, and Google BigQuery. This role supports enterprise dashboards and analytics by ensuring high‑quality, performant, and consistent data across platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in BI / Analytics / Data Engineering roles supporting enterprise analytics.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including complex transformations, joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience working with Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Delta Lake, and/or Google BigQuery.
- Solid understanding of BI‑oriented data modeling, including dimensional and star schema design.
- Experience building and maintaining curated analytical datasets and trusted data layers.
- Strong background in data quality validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across platforms.
