About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have basic exposure to online bidding platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar portals and a keen interest in building a career in sales and client acquisition for IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects across platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn, etc.
- Assist in generating leads, building client relationships, and managing proposals.
- Write professional and customized cover letters/proposals for potential projects.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to prepare project estimations.
- Follow up with clients, maintain communication, and help convert leads into successful projects.
- Maintain proper records of bids, proposals, and client interactions.
- Stay updated with IT service trends and competitor activities in the marketplace.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of bidding portals (Upwork, Freelancer, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to draft compelling and client-focused proposals.
- Good understanding of IT services such as Web Development, Mobile Apps, UI/UX, Digital Marketing, etc.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
- 0 – 6 months of relevant experience in business development / bidding.
