Key Responsibilities

As part of the Technology team, you will be a

•   Techno banker involved in creating and designing cutting edge tools and applications that will redefine the future of banking

•   Work in a truly Agile environment, as part of scrum teams that are striving to solve customer challenges

•   Play a critical role in client journeys that help us make faster decisions to enhance the end-to-end client experience and achieve outcomes that are most valuable to our clients

•   Expertise in handling Large and Critical Deliverables lead by example as individual and as a Team.

•   A skilled Backend developer/Engineer responsible for building applications, containers, APIs and microservices. The role will require to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential

•   Design, develop, and maintain code that meets requirements, is high quality, efficient, reusable and performs efficiently and effectively to provide a great customer experience

•   Incorporate standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, testability and maintainability

•   Will be responsible for automating parts of the development process in a way that tightens the development feedback loop. They should also be able to identify opportunities for automation during the development process.

•   Participate in code reviews to spot issues around architecture, performance, security, and more

•   Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications

•   Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

•   Contribute to design patterns and coding standards while being mentored

•   Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.

•   Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.

•   Documenting application changes and developing updates.

•   Use continuous delivery to ship incremental improvements many times per week

Skills and Experience

•   Analyse business problems and help to arrive at technically advanced solutions

•   Proven ability to think out-of-the-box, fostering innovation and automation  

•   Proven ability that establish a strong team-player approach to problem solving

•   Strong foundational knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, OOPs concepts and frameworks

•   Curious learner, willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks

•   Empowered mindset with ability to ask questions and seek clarifications

•   Excellent communication skills that enable seamless interactions with colleagues globally

•   Strong technical skills, with exposure to coding in any next-gen tech 

•   Awareness of Agile methodologies

•   Good technical skills, with exposure to 

o   An object-oriented programming, preferably Java, 

o   10+ years of Experience with Frameworks / Technologies Springboot, MicroServices and Database side hands on experience to optimize from DB point of view as well.

o   Preferrable with Certifications Java 8+ versions and understanding core concepts 

o   Modern technologies like UI frameworks –Angular, React will be added advantage

o   Hands on Experience Cloud Technologies like AWS .
