Hiring for one of the most Innovative HR Platform in the Talent Management Space.
Founders - 3 Founders, All ex-CHROs bring over 7 decades of professional experience between them. 2 year old set-up; has scaled to about $4Mn ARR in Revenue and Growing. Clients include PhonePe, HDFC Ergo, MediBuddy etc.
This is the first Sales Leader that they are hiring - Thus this will be an individual contributor role. Also, it will also give an opportunity to build and scale the sales function ground-up
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Source, qualify, and generate new high-value leads through direct outreach, networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust personal sales pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting of all sales activities and progress.
- Consultative Selling & Deal Closure: Conduct in-depth needs analysis and deliver compelling, tailored presentations and proposals to key decision-makers (including C-suite executives). Lead contract negotiations and close deals, focusing on providing value-added solutions to meet client business objectives.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with high-value clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, retention, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies and positioning effectively.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success, legal) to align sales efforts, ensure seamless client onboarding, and deliver exceptional service.
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual individual sales quotas and revenue targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record of 10+ years in high-performance B2B sales, specifically in an individual contributor capacity, with a history of exceeding substantial sales targets.
- Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of the end-to-end B2B sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, and proficiency in consultative/solution-selling methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior management and C-level stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills and expertise in using CRM platforms and other sales analytics tools.
- Attributes: Highly self-motivated, self-reliant, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
