Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Architecture Design: Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure based on customer requirements.
- Customer Collaboration: Engage with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions, guiding them through cloud adoption and modernization strategies.
- Pre-sales Support: Provide architectural guidance and technical expertise in presales discussions, creating proposals, and demonstrating Azure solutions.
- Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of applications and infrastructure to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation of Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, ensuring adherence to best practices and security guidelines.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize Azure environments for performance, cost, and scalability, proactively identifying potential risks and resolving issues.
- Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices, advising customers on new solutions and improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in IT architecture and cloud solutions, with at least 5 years of experience in Azure.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing Azure-based architectures, including virtual networks, storage, databases, compute, security, and governance.
- Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and tools (eg, Azure Migrate, Cloud Adoption Framework).
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, networking (VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute), security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in the USA and LATAM markets.
- Azure certifications (eg, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
