Creospan is seeking a highly experienced Azure Architect with over 10 years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on expertise in architecting and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about designing and leading cutting-edge cloud solutions that align with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure-based business solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and create roadmaps for large-scale transformation and greenfield projects on Azure.
• Assess and recommend cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) while ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Drive Proof of Concepts and define business value for Azure solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure Azure designs meet Well-Architected Framework standards.
• Mentor teams on cloud-native design principles, modern architectures, and best practices.

Qualifications and Expertise:

• Extensive experience in cloud deployment, architecture, and design using Azure, including PaaS and IaaS services.
• Proficiency in Azure tools and technologies: Azure DevOps, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and more.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Azure AD, RBAC, and MFA.
• Expertise in IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with modern architectures (event-driven, CQRS) and cloud migration strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization of Azure workloads.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
• Knowledge of Integration Technologies, including IPaaS, Azure API Management, and Azure Event Grid.
• Prior experience in financial services or global delivery models is a plus.

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (mandatory).
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (preferred).
