Job Purpose
The Applications Support Analyst is a key part of our IT Applications and Operations support team, responsible for managing the key business applications for the firm. These applications are varied but include key finance and accounting platforms.
This is a dynamic role, working with a broad range of Up-to-date and bespoke applications and databases, in a growing firm with key change programmes including full migration to cloud.
The role would suit an individual who has supported and managed business applications in similar firms, including administering the applications, dealing with maintenance, Break-Fix and upgrades, supporting the firm through busy periods such as finance year end and resolving third line queries.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Digital Services Manager, this role will help develop the delivery and support of our applications they undergoes major transformation, our ambitious programme includes major technology developments as well as redesigning areas such as IT Service, process maturity, resourcing, third party management and security.
This is a key role for the firm, as this individual will maintain delivery of the highest standards in quality of service delivery and operational standards with reporting. They will ensure that on a day-to-day basis, the IT services that are key to enabling the business are managed to ensure these are available, secure and performant.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
A track record of supporting key business solutions, with a successful roadmap of improvement, including examples of:
Application development support, systems reporting, Data Management and Integration Support, Daily maintenance tasks across scheduled data runs and support of key lines of business Apps within the professional services portfolio in ERP and CRM solutions and a number of wider Business applications.
Working on initiatives such as platform upgrades or business change projects.
Improving customer experience and developing maturity in process and technology.
Experience - 4-6 years
Technical Skill Requirements
Additional Application knowledge with some or all these applications would be advantageous.
