Azure-AKS Engineer

Location: PAN India

Experience: 8 - 15 Years

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IaC Azure ( AKS) Lead Engineer to join our team at Capgemini. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes-based container orchestration solutions on Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native technologies and Infrastructure as Code with a focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and security for enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Use Terraform to automate infrastructure management, cluster provisioning, and configuration.

· Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters using Azure AKS.

· Life Cycle Management of application containers through all delivery stages

· Life Cycle Management of application servers through all delivery stages

· Use Ansible for configuration Management of Azure Cloud

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Terraform clusters, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

· Collaborate with Architects to create reference implementations of reference architecture using terraform, terragrunt, and IaC pipelines

· Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with best practices.

· Implement security controls and compliance measures for cloud environments

· Deliver cost effective, secure, and resilient infrastructure through automation

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills:

· Experience using Terraform to manage IaC, automate cluster provisioning and configuration.

· Strong experience with Azure services and GCP

· Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS), including cluster management, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.

· Configure and manage Kubernetes networking (Services, Ingress, Network Policies)
