Role & responsibilities -
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
- Monitor and optimize AWS environments for cost, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Develop scripts for cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and enforce best practices for cloud security and data protection.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations on cloud-based applications, architecture, and services.
- Perform cloud cost optimization to ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and cloud architecture.
- Assist in the migration of on-premise applications to AWS cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience working with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Formation, and RDS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or other automation languages.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
- Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API integrations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices and tools.
- Experience with high-availability, disaster recovery, and scaling architectures on AWS.
