AVP – Enterprise Applications (Oracle Financials & Others)

The AVP – Enterprise Applications will be the strategic and operational owner of Oracle Finance (AP/AR/GL), SAP Treasury, Legal and Compliance, Finance and Procurement, and investment-related platforms. The role leads platform strategy, delivery, governance, modernization, compliance, and cross-functional partnership with all functional stakeholders.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for designing scalable, compliant, high-availability enterprise financial systems aligned with a customer-centric and innovation-driven culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Enterprise Application Strategy & Leadership

· Define and execute the long-term roadmap for Oracle Finance, SAP Treasury, Legal, Compliance & Procurement applications.

· Champion digital transformation reflecting a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

· Drive modernization, automation, cloud adoption, and platform scalability across enterprise systems.

2. Oracle Finance (AP/AR/GL) Ownership

· Lead enhancements, upgrades, and support for Oracle Financials: AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting modules.

· Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and data integrity aligned with regulatory requirements.

3. SAP Treasury Management

· Oversee Treasury functionalities including cash/liquidity management, risk, and banking integrations.

· Strengthen treasury processes in partnership with Finance teams to enhance visibility, compliance, and automation.

4. Legal & Compliance Applications

· Manage contract lifecycle systems, compliance tools, risk frameworks, and governance platforms.

· Ensure systems align with a strong culture of ethics, transparency, and regulatory discipline.

5. Procurement Systems

· Lead procurement digitalization across sourcing, vendor management, workflows, and approvals.

· Drive process and policy standardization to enable efficiency and spend governance.

6. Stakeholder & Program Management

· Partner with CXOs and Business Heads across Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance.

· Lead large-scale transformation programs, ensuring business enablement and measurable impact.

7. Vendor & Partner Governance

· Manage Oracle, SAP, and technology service partners, ensuring quality delivery and SLA adherence.

· Optimize licensing, contracts, and integration ecosystems.

8. Governance, Security & Compliance

· Strengthen application controls, audit readiness, cyber security posture, and data governance.

· Drive SOX, regulatory, IRDAI compliance through robust process and technology controls.

Key competencies/skills required:

· Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or Computer Applications.

· Certifications in Oracle Finance, SAP Treasury, PMP, or ITIL are advantageous.

· 14+ years in Enterprise Financial Technology roles.

· Deep functional & technical expertise in Oracle Financials (AP/AR/GL).

· Strong hands-on experience in SAP Treasury implementations, upgrades, and support.

· Experience with banking integrations, payment gateways, reconciliation engines, and financial control systems.

· Oracle EBS / Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Modules

· SAP Treasury (TRM)

· Integration Platforms (APIs, middleware, ESB)

· Understanding of SOX, IRDAI, and internal financial controls

· Strong data governance and audit compliance mindset
