Scrum Master, VP

As a Scrum Master at Vice President level, you will drive a strong culture of continuous improvement and ensure teams fully adopt Agile and Scrum values. You will empower teams to become high-performing, self-organising units that deliver high-quality software with increased productivity, transparency, and delivery frequency. The role provides exposure to an enterprise Agile ecosystem, including communities of practice, experts, and innovation events.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Scrum or feature team understands and consistently applies Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Scrum values
• Enable teams to deliver working software that meets platform customer needs and adapts quickly to change
• Coach teams to become self-organising and accountable, reducing dependency on traditional management structures
• Embed Scrum practices to improve productivity, quality, and predictability of delivery
• Foster a culture of safe, compliant delivery within live production environments
• Align team delivery with broader programme and transformation goals
• Support continuous improvement through empirical process control and data-driven decision making

Required Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience of successful Scrum adoption in complex technology environments
• Hands-on experience leading Agile delivery within Core Banking and Payments transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and toolchains
• Technical exposure to WAS development, MQ Series, middleware setup, RPG and Java development
• Knowledge of firewall and security configurations, data modelling, and workflow design
• Demonstrated experience coaching cross-functional teams into high-performing delivery units
