Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in automation testing, showcasing consistent delivery of top-quality software solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Mandatory skill) for automated test case development and execution.
- Proficiency in programming with Java and JavaScript (Mandatory skill) for test automation.
- Expertise in using BDD frameworks for behavior-driven test automation implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of using JIRA or Bugzilla for defect tracking and project management activities.
- Ability to write and manage complex SQL queries for database validation and testing.
- Extensive experience in both functional and automation testing methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices for test integration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of test engineers to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Develop strategies to automate and integrate continuous testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Plan and manage testing activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage for functional and regression testing.
- Coordinate with teams to maintain and manage test environments and execute performance testing where necessary.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using JIRA or Bugzilla, providing detailed reports and updates on testing progress.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, providing insights into best practices in test automation and scripting.
- Continually assess and recommend innovations in testing technologies and methods to improve testing efficiency.
