Automation Test Engineer

Project Description:

Our Client is a US multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. We are currently forming a new team to support the modernization of the client's strategic platform that supports ETFs globally for Hong Kong, New York, and London markets. You will join the Luxoft's international development team and partner with other client teams spread globally. You will be involved in the testing of server-side components and UI of a high-frequency Market Making & Index Arbitrage platform

Responsibilities:

• Fast learner, self-motivated and able to manage QA activities independently with little supervision;
• Good communication and coordination skills to plan & deliver test solutions by interacting with global QA & Dev teams;
• Provide test plan and estimates for all components of QA cycle;
• Write efficient & effective Test Scenarios/Cases based on Business, Functional, Technical and UI requirements;
• Functionally test new products and regression/automation test existing products for each QA release cycle;
• Manage testing documentation, defect tracking, sign off reports & document relative information from multiple projects;
• Create reports (DSR /WSR) and create testing metrics;
• RCA on defect leakages, work along with Dev & Prod Support teams;

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 8+ years of QA Automation experience
• Experience in Cash/Derivative products within Equities domain;
• Sound knowledge of End to End trade life cycle;
• Hands-on with UNIX;
• Experience with FIX;
• Experience in cucumber/Java automation, ability to identify and convert manual test cases into automation;

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Exposure to SQL;
• Experience on using JIRA/ALM;
• Exposure to non-functional testing like Failover/Recovery/Volume/Stress testing;
