Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Selenium, Java or Python, and API automation testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, executing, and automating test cases to identify and resolve any issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts using Selenium in Java or Python.
• Design, implement, and execute API testing for various applications.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with developers.
• Ensure that automated testing is fully integrated into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on product development to enhance quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality across the development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to ensure robust and scalable automation coverage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing (automation).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium using Java or Python for UI testing.
• Strong understanding of API testing, including experience with tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
